3)Threaded protective cap for safety
4)Both hex nuts should be tightened equally to prevent leakage
5)Two or more clamps are recommended for 5" ID hose and larger
How to choose the right spiral clamp?
Spiral Clamps for use on convoluted hose. Looking at the end of the hose: Use clockwise(CW) clamps if the hose spirals away from you in a right hand wrap. Use counter-clockwise(CCW) clamps if the hose spirals away from you in a left hand wrap.Check your hose before ordering.
